On a train to Paris. A young woman is seating next to the window. She looks very smart in white trousers and a pale blue blouse. She is reading a book, she is a book reviewer and reads a book every week and when she hasn’t got the time, she reads newspapers. She likes reading. From time to time she files her long nails carefully, then she opens her very expensive leather bag, takes out a huge mirror and looks at herself. She has a pretty face with long black hair, blue eyes and she is wearing a pair of smart glasses. Now, she is eating a croissant and when the attendant comes with the drinks trolley, she asks for a black coffee and drinks it slowly, staring ahead of her. She looks at the other passengers in the carriage, some are talking to friends, others are eating, drinking or sleeping. She is thinking of the man she is going to meet up with. She is dreaming of a better life, she is excited at the thought of a new start in Paris.
