If you had told me about the job before, I could have applied for it. I would have gone to London and I will have been able to come to your office. May I tell you something? I believe I might be the right person for the job. I could have told you about my previous experience working in big international firms such as yours and you would have then realised that I am your man for the job. We must discuss the situation. If you gave me a second chance, I would prove to you that you took the right decision. I can’t help wondering how your firm will survive without me. Will you be able to reach a growth of 3% this year? You may have to introduce a fiscal reform. You need me. A door must either be open or shut, you cannot tell me you didn’t know about my desire to work for you. Now, as soon as I can, I will apply for another job.
